Samsung’s not so sly dig at Apple

This week, Samsung managed to lay into a whole decade of iPhones in 60 seconds flat. Featuring a regretful iPhone owner whose hardships include not being able to take a photo because of low memory and having to use the phone-in-a-bowl-of-rice trick after falling in a lake, Samsung unashamedly targets its no. 1 competitor in its typically cool and collected style. The Apple fan at the end even has a haircut shaped like the infamous notch at the top of the iPhone X screen.

With the ad being widely celebrated online, it’s clear people are impressed with Samsung’s sheer audacity. It will be interesting to see whether Apple fight fire with fire on this one.
