 YouTube invests $5 million in more ‘positive’ video content 

 YouTube announced it’s putting $5 million in its Creators for Change program, which it launched in 2016. The program will help produce and market YouTubers whose videos “counter hate and promote tolerance.”

Instagram ‘Profile Visits’ feature shows users how many people have looked at their page

 A new feature that tells you how many times people have visited your Instagram profile in the past week appears to be in development. This information appears at the top of users’ pages and shows you how many times your profile has been viewed, it doesn’t tell you who those visitors are.

*This feature comes on the back of the ‘last active’ feature which was introduced last week: it’ll be interesting to see what the user reaction will be to new capabilities which help track your page viewing and how active you Instagram followers are.*

 Robots takeover Stylist magazine for celebratory 400th issue

UK weekly magazine, Stylist, is looking to the future in its 400th print issue by dedicating it to robotic technology. Gracing the cover is Sophia the Robot, arguably one of the most famous faces of recent humanoid launches. Other contributors include the Beautification make-up artist robot, which applies make-up on the user through a series of acrylic arms.
