Ads between Instagram Stories are about to get more annoying 

 Instagram Stories will now let brands create up to three videos in sequence, instead of the one 15-second video limit that was in place previously. Brands including Gap, California Pizza Kitchen, Netflix and Paramount were running the longer Stories ads during the rollout of the format.

Snapchat is now selling merchandise in its app

 Snap Inc. just launched a merchandise store. Accessible on the Discover tab of the app, the Snapchat store features Snap-themed items like a plush version of the dancing hot dog, a fire emoji Snap streak hat, and a “Bring back best friends” sweatshirt.

Universal Everything creates an immersive soundscape

 Design studio Universal Everything has created six soundscape environments to visualise the sensations created by sound. The immersive videos have been designed in virtual reality (VR) allowing viewers to ‘step Inside the sound’.
