Spotify is testing a new personalised playlist featuring your friends’ favourite songs

Spotify is testing out the ‘Friends Weekly’ playlist which shows you a curation of songs that your friends on Spotify are listening to.

*These playlists appear to be an effort to help make Spotify an even more social experience and engage interest around its version of an activity feel. On the flip side, however, will this lead to people ‘filtering’ what they listen to, to sound/look cool in front of their mates, just as they do on the likes of Instagram?*

Spanish Burger King used Instagram Stories’ polling feature to allow customers to build their own Whoppers — and then get promo codes and actually redeem them.
