Cole Haan uses Facebook chatbot to combat cart abandonment

 Apparel and footwear retailer Cole Haan is utilising Facebook Messenger to remind shoppers about the items they’ve left in their online carts. If a shopper adds a product through Cole Haan’s website or mobile app and doesn’t complete the purchase, the Facebook chatbot integration will send reminder notifications, bringing their attention back to the abandoned items.

 Amazon Alexa will now let you know when it’s learned answers to old questions 

 Amazon has confirmed that a new feature is coming to Alexa devices called “Answer Update,” as reported by TechCrunch. If you ask Alexa a question and it doesn’t have the information to respond, this new feature will enable Alexa to notify you at a later time if it learns the answer.

* The move seems like a small step forward in the face of recent studies showing that Alexa’s intelligence might be lagging behind that of her chief rival, Google Assistant.
