 YouTube has announced a brand-new video advertising option that will allow users to buy or download what the ad is advertising — straight from the ad itself.

Google Maps is getting in-app music support and new commuter tab

Via a new commute tab, you’ll be able to see any congestion or disruption on your route before you leave, and you’ll be given specific travel information for each leg of your journey. The new update will also allow users to control their music from within the app.

 *This is an interesting move from Google. It seems the company recognises that its users are most likely to use the app on the go, and are therefore tailoring its new features to accommodate this.*

 Facebook tests its swipe-free dating service

Users of Facebook Dating must create a new profile that exists separately from their main Facebook profile, providing information such as their height, religious beliefs and number of children, while also answering a number of ice-breaker questions.
