To celebrate the Australian release of the newest label from Johnnie Walker, Splendid Australia organised an exclusive event at the Bellevue Hotel, Sydney, to introduce guests to the new rich, smoky and intense blended whisky that is Johnnie Walker Double Black.

Upon arrival guests, including 12 of Australia’s premium lifestyle and drink journalists, were treated to canapés and a selection of classic Johnnie Walker Double Black cocktails.

Throughout the evening, guests were invited to experience the new whisky during an intimate tasting on two beautifully designed Double Black tasting stations handcrafted from individual whisky barrels. Two Johnnie Walker whisky ambassadors hosted the tastings before presenting guests with the perfect way to enjoy the drink: Johnnie Walker Double Black with a few drops of water over a large chunk of carved ice.
