Alec founded Splendid in 2004 to build a global boutique agency creating innovative brand communications. Previous roles included head of global consumer practice at strategic research consultancy Datamonitor and Head of Brands Division at Slice, a music and entertainment PR shop. Alec is a family man and former DJ who still maintains a severe vinyl addiction.
Andy planned his way expertly around the advertising industry for two decades at WCRS, GGT, TBWA and lastly spending 8 years as Strategy Director at Mother, before joining his old friend Alec to help build Splendid’s strategic capability in the real world. Other than Splendid, Andy’s biggest loves are his wife, 2 daughters, 3 snowboards and 5 bikes.
Niki joined Splendid in 2006 with a background of food and drink PR and now leads the team to deliver best practice and quality results. Niki’s work is a reflection of her personal life with good food, delicious wine and cocktail mixology being a passion. She’s always on the hunt for great pubs that allow her to bring her dog, which is her other great love (after her husband of course).
Alex joined Splendid from Microsoft where, as Xbox brand marketing manager, he launched Xbox 360 and Kinect. Alex cut his teeth at agencies Neon, BD Network and Third Planet working on brands such as BT, Campbell’s, Coca Cola, Orange and Vans. In between filing his old skateboard magazines, Alex enjoys spending quality downtime at home with his young family.
Annalise joined the Splendid family in 2009. Previously MD at 360 Comms agency, Spin Communications, she worked on integrated accounts such as Visa, eBay, Mattel, MAC Cosmetics and Australian Fashion Week. Annalise’s twin passions are business development and designer shoes and she excels in both.
Tim worked across the integrated, PR & events space for 15 years in the UK, US, EU and Africa before moving to Sydney in 2005. He is currently the Event Director on Tropfest, the Creative Director of the Australian Hairdressing & AIMIA Awards and the creative lead on Diageo accounts.
Chris joined in August 2011 to head up the US office. With an emphasis on digital and social media, Chris has led creative and strategy for some of the world’s biggest brands including Coca-Cola, Hewlett-Packard and Hormel Foods. A frequent speaker on digital and social media, Chris also regularly participates in industry events.
Shirin joined the UK office as creative director before returning to the US in 2010 to head up the business in US. She leads digital best practice and innovation globally and has 15 years of integrated comms experience, including creative and account roles at Edelman and Weber Shandwick.
Kobi joined Splendid in 2011 with 15+ years of music and experiential marketing to create strategy and real world programming for the practice. A former Cornerstone executive and entrepreneur, her love of music has consistently seeped into everything she does professionally. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and the coolest little boy in the world.
