For the world’s largest collection of digital magazines, Zinio, Splendid negotiated an official partnership with the Earth Day Network, and handled blogger outreach in the lead up to Earth Day 2012.
The partnership saw Zinio joining Earth Day’s mission to achieve “A Billion Acts of Green ®”, with each new customer recognized as a single act of green. Zinio additionally made a pledge to contribute a percentage of sales over Earth Day week to the good cause.
“A Billion Acts of Green ®” inspires and rewards simple individual acts and larger organisational initiatives that further the goal of measurably reducing carbon emission and supporting sustainability.
