Splendid New York hosted a press conference for Spotify and Coca-Cola to announce their new global multifaceted partnership, which will make Spotify the exclusive music technology partner for Coca-Cola Music and Coke’s Timeline on Facebook.
The Splendid team invited key media and managed media relations prior to and after the press conference to achieve widespread press coverage.
The partnership includes Facebook integration where Coca-Cola is the most-followed brand with over 41 million fans and a 2013 marketing campaign.
A brand-new Spotify app sponsored by Coke will also debut in the coming weeks as part of Coke’s 2012 London Olympics marketing campaign. It will feature the official anthem for the Games: Mark Ronson’s ‘Move to the Beat’.
